Its a Boy- Mommy version

But more exciting than actually finding out the sex of the baby, was seeing the baby under the ultrasound. He -we can officially give him a pronoun now, rather than the indescript "it"- was being quite the showman under the limelight. First thing we saw was one arm cutely over the head, either in sleeping or deep thinking mode. Manish immediately commented that he sleeps like me :) Next he did a little yoga pose with both his legs crossed. Since we asked the doctor to know what was down there and she couldn't see, she wiggled my tummy a little for some activity, and surely, his legs straightened up, so that we'd know whether to paint the room blue or pink! Right after that we saw one arm flailing a little, like he was saying hello to his parents from the inside. The whole thing really drew us to the fact that this is for real. Now that the baby has form and sex, and arms and legs and ribs and what not, this is for real! We're excited as hell, and that brings us much closer to feeling like the proud parents-to-be. Hot topics of discussion in the coming weeks will be names, and who we think he'll look like when he comes out. Oh and the nursery? That was cleverly painted yellow last summer, so that we could conveniently accent it blue or pink as the case may be, so we're almost set in that department as well!
